Tiago Batalhão awarded the CAPES Best Thesis Prize

Dr Tiago Batalhão (our former PhD student) was awarded the best thesis Grand Prize in Natural Sciences and Engineering 2017 afforded by CAPES and the Conrado Wessel Foundation (CWF). This is the most prestigious Brazilian Post-graduation Award. The prize includes a post-doctoral fellowship, US$ 15.000 award to the author, and distinction to the advisor. This is the second CAPES Grand Prize to our research group, which is the only one in Brazil with two Prizes. We are really proud about this achievement. Congratulations to Tiago and to all the collaborators involved in the theses.
